Devine Timing...Sometimes Things are Just Meant to Happen

Have you ever wanted something to happen in your life, whether it was to find the love of your life or find that perfect job or start your dream business? Then all of a sudden, as if it was beyond your control, everything started to line up perfectly?... and quickly?!! As if it was meant to be and whether you liked it or not, you were being provided some divine gifts.

I’d like to share a few miracles that have happened to me this week. Please also comment with miracles that may have happened in your life recently!

I am currently living in Moscow for the next year or two. To get here, I had to close a busy Private Practice providing Coaching and Counselling to people in the Toronto area. I loved it, it is my passion. For me, Coaching/Counselling and speaking are more of a self-expression, I am clear that this is my purpose.

I moved to Moscow with my partner because he was given a great opportunity here to work for his father’s large company. I do not speak Russian so my time here was supposed to be more of a sabbatical. A time for me to do the things that I have wanted to do for years. I have been spending a lot of time reflecting on life, journaling, taking baths, reading two or three books a week, working on writing my book (released 2010), meditating, working out and doing yoga. The past 3 months have been rejuvenating and eye opening.

Even though I am still coaching 2 clients over the phone who live in Toronto, I have been missing doing seminars and coaching. I’m feeling a small void, like I am here but not doing what I was put on this earth to do.

Living in a Country where I do not speak the language and a country that does not embrace personal development, I thought that counselling/coaching and speaking was out of the question.
However, I put it out to the universe that if I am in Russia for some purpose, beyond writing a book, to let me know what that was.

If we Listen, We are Guided

Two weeks ago I found, I think the only English- speaking coach in Moscow and I met with her. She told me that there was a need for coaching in Moscow. The next thing I know she wants to introduce me to her contacts at the only Homeopathy Centre in Moscow as well as Moscow universities who are looking for wellness speakers and will provide a translator!
Be open to listening. The universe (or God) sends us messages all the time. Are you listening?
I almost didn’t call this woman and if I didn’t I wouldn’t have found these opportunities.
Do you feel in your gutt that you should call someone or do something and you have been putting it off? Sometimes it is a feeling or a thought that you should really pick up the phone. This is your intuition. Honour it. It is always telling you messages that will serve you.

Look for Synchronicity...

One of my dreams is to be a New York Times Best-Selling Author. I have been writing diligently but also wanted to expand the people I knew so I could get the book out to as many people as possible.
As I am writing my book yesterday, a good friend from New York calls me and tells me that she just did a workshop with a great turn out and we decide that we will do a workshop together next month since I will be visiting Toronto anyway.
When I went to book my flight I hesitated, due to the economy, I wondered if I should really be doing even more travelling.
The next day, there is a HUGE seat sale to fly from Toronto and NYC. More then half price!
I know that I am suppose to be there.
When things like this happen in your life, do you notice? Are you grateful? When we are grateful and open to receive even more is able to flow to us.

Let it flow....

Just this week, the only homeopathy clinic in Moscow found me (out of 15 million people), a seminar in NYC found me, and cheap transportation to get there! I also just received an email from a PhD student from the UK who offered to be my Coach for FREE. Perfect now I have someone who can hold me accountable to finish my book ;)
Start your week this week expecting miracles to happen. Expect to run into the perfect person, to attract everything you want.
If you expect it and are willing to take the steps to get it, it will be yours.
